Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using the services of Five Starr Staging & Redesign ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, then you may not access our services.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use our services, including but not limited to home staging, vacation rental design, and interior redesign services.

2. Services Description

Five Starr Staging & Redesign provides professional home staging, vacation rental design, and interior redesign services in the Tampa Bay area and surrounding regions. Our services include:

  • Home staging consultation and implementation
  • Vacant property staging
  • Occupied property staging
  • Vacation rental property design and setup
  • Interior redesign and decoration
  • Furniture rental and placement
  • Design consultation services

3. Booking and Payments

3.1 Consultation

Initial consultations may be scheduled through our website, phone, or email. Consultation fees, if applicable, will be communicated prior to the appointment.

3.2 Service Agreements

All staging and design projects require a signed service agreement detailing the scope of work, timeline, and fees. Services will commence only after the agreement is executed and any required deposits are received.

3.3 Payment Terms

  • A deposit of 50% is required to secure staging services
  • Remaining balance is due upon completion of staging installation
  • Payment methods accepted include cash, check, and major credit cards
  • Late payments may incur additional fees as specified in the service agreement

3.4 Additional Fees

Additional fees may apply for rush services, extended staging periods, additional furniture requests, or services outside our standard service area.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

4.1 Cancellation by Client

  • Cancellations made more than 7 days before scheduled service: Full refund of deposit
  • Cancellations made 3-7 days before scheduled service: 50% refund of deposit
  • Cancellations made less than 3 days before scheduled service: No refund of deposit

4.2 Rescheduling

Clients may reschedule services once without penalty if notice is given at least 48 hours in advance. Additional rescheduling may incur fees.

4.3 Cancellation by Company

We reserve the right to cancel services due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, clients will receive a full refund of any deposits paid.

5. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate property information and access details
  • Ensure the property is clean and ready for staging on the scheduled date
  • Obtain necessary permissions from property owners if acting as an agent
  • Maintain staged items in good condition during the staging period
  • Provide adequate insurance coverage for staged items
  • Return all rented items in the same condition as received
  • Notify us immediately of any damage to staged items

6. Liability and Insurance

6.1 Property Damage

While we exercise great care in handling your property, Five Starr Staging & Redesign is not responsible for pre-existing conditions or normal wear and tear. We maintain general liability insurance for our operations.

6.2 Staged Items

Clients are responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to staged items during the staging period. We recommend clients maintain appropriate insurance coverage.

6.3 Limitation of Liability

Our liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Design Rights

All design concepts, plans, and creative work developed by Five Starr Staging & Redesign remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing.

7.2 Photography

We reserve the right to photograph our work for portfolio and marketing purposes. Clients may opt out of this by providing written notice.

7.3 Client Materials

Any materials provided by clients remain the property of the client. We will use such materials only for the purpose of providing our services.

8. Confidentiality

We respect the privacy of our clients and will maintain the confidentiality of all client information, property details, and personal preferences shared during our engagement. We will not disclose such information to third parties without client consent, except as required by law.

9. Indemnification

Clients agree to indemnify and hold harmless Five Starr Staging & Redesign, its owners, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from the client's breach of these Terms, misuse of our services, or violation of any laws or third-party rights.

10. Dispute Resolution

10.1 Good Faith Resolution

In the event of any dispute, we commit to working with clients in good faith to reach a mutually satisfactory resolution.

10.2 Mediation

If direct negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to mediation before pursuing other remedies.

10.3 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services after any such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.
